This page explains how VIRRA looks after your information when you use this website, virra.app. We've tried to keep it short and plain. If anything's unclear, email hello@virra.app.

What we collect

• Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, Run Hot.
• What you fill in on the coaching enquiry form, the contact form, or the pace calculator's email-my-paces field.
• What you send when you email us at hello@virra.app.
• Basic technical information our hosting provider records to keep the site running, like IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

If you become a 1:1 coaching client, we'll give you a separate privacy notice covering the extra information coaching involves.

How we use it

To send you the newsletter if you've subscribed, to reply to your messages or enquiries, to email your pace calculator results if you've asked, and to keep the website working. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who handles it for us

A small number of trusted providers help us run the site. Beehiiv sends the newsletter for us, so if you subscribe your email is held there. Beehiiv is based in the US. Our website hosting provider keeps the basic server logs above. Your information is held with these providers only for these purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. To make a request, email hello@virra.app and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
